No permanent wiring required.Just run power cord (Hella Extension Cord - 3m/10'' - by Front Runner - not included) from vehicle 12v accessory outlet to one of the 2 receptacles in bracket.The additional receptacle can be used to simultaneously power the light and other 12v accessories. Die cast aluminum housing is waterproof, dustproof and rattle proof. Built for Off-Road performance in harsh outdoor conditions. Expected LED life of 30,000 hours.
